Final chase scene with that russian dude...he was driving mercedes suv and i believe bourne was in a cab which is a bmw 7 series? both top of line cars but when they both crashed, how come no airbags were deployed?..wtf?...i mean it was definitely an intense crash so the main or side airbags should have gone off...especially in those cars. Unless its something european that i dun get, isn't that a rather big "miss"?

also, wtf most of the cop cars, cabbies were driving like audis, bmws, mercedes...

The cab cars are Mercedes in Zurich.

Ummmm... It was a movie. Don't try to make sense of it all. Just be entertained. They probably disconnected the airbags to avoid injury. Those stunt guys trick out the cars they drive so that they are almost 100% safe and the airbag is an "unknown" factor for those guys since they have worked so long with statistically minimal injuries without them..

the question should by why the whole fucken movie shakes all the time. Car chase, shake is acceptable. Fight fight, shake is partially acceptable. Zoom in on picture of love interest or drinking tea on a sunny day, shake isn't acceptable.

Germany, Switzerland, France, and Austria: mostly Mercedes cabs.
Italy: mostly FIAT cabs
Not sure about the others...

I agree. It was a bit distracting.

On the airbag issue: I agree that the cab did not need the airbags, but the Russian secret service guy in the SUV should have had the airbags deploy on him.

Airbags aren't required by law as far as I know outside of the U.S. There was a big stink about it over there. Secondly, cops outside of the US drive some phat cars...some highway police officers in Italy have Lambroghinis and a lot of police officers in Germany and France have Porsches. Taxis over there as well are as previously mentioned typically Mercedes, even in countries outside of Germany, aka. Austria, France, and sometimes Italy but not as common. In Russia, it is still a very much anything goes. Once you go east of Austria it is a different standard.

I can tell you one thing .. that cab != BMW 7 series. It was a little econobox. 😛

The Merc G-Wagon the Russian dude was driving was just flat out awesome. Wish I had the money for one of those.

I was puking right after the movie ended, it shakes so badly :| I wonder why they have to make the movie jerked so much. BTW what kind of camera style is this in movie lingo?

I saw this movie in theatre, and I loved it. I watched it before the first one though, and when I went back and watched the DVD of Bourne ID, I was kinda leaning towards the 2nd one.

I was actually impressed that Matt Damon could pull off a believable spy/tough guy. But he did a bang-up (or should i say CRASH UP muaahah) job. Maybe he should have been Daredevil too, instead of Affleck. Affleck is such a weak DD.

Damm directors style sux

did you notice when he crashed that it first showed something dangling down under the car, I guess the exhaust pipe, and then the next angle of him driving away, it is NOT dangling anymore
