IKEA = overpriced overhyped furniture

Funny, I've always found IKEA's stuff to be pretty cheap. You get what you pay for, though.
I've enjoyed the Ikea furniture....its very solidly constructed, and lasts forever. I have a desk thats like 12 years old and has very little damage. Its usually much better construction than the crapola at OfficeMax/Staples/Office Depot

Yep IKEA furniture is cheap and the quality is so so. I have been buying them only because I don't have a house yet. I keep changing apartments and don't want to buy expensive furniture that may get damaged in moving. They are maybe slightly better than walmart furniture.

Ikea is overpriced? 😕 Where do you shop that you find cheaper stuff? Personally i think their stuff is very cheap and just as cheaply made. I would hate to see what a bed cheaper than $200 looks like.

Get rid of that calendar before you turn gay!!!!

Pigs are my favorite animal. I 've gotten a new pig calender every year for the last 6 years.

lol, I like the pig calendar.

I can see two desk lamps, one is sitting up behind the monitor, the other on the desk - is that the one from ikea? What is it attached to?

I think the desk is nice and neat, with everything (calendar, noteboard, pens, clock) within easy reach, and a few personal items like photos and the pig to show a bit of your personality. Also, when you are bored, you can stare into that photograph and think about times of old.

Yea, the floor lamp, and the desk lamp are from Ikea. There's another identical desk lamp sitting on top of my computer which is barely in the picture in the left.
