Bought some prop money for a little fun :)

100K in realistic prop money. It looks like you can have some fun with it. How can you not?
Wow apparently some folks are so stupid they actually get scammed with prop money that says right on the bill "Motion picture use only"

It looks just like this.

Those are antique bills. I spend them first. Always vaguely concerned I picked up a counterfeit along the way.

I've noticed stores have been refusing 50s and 100s, maybe for the jul season. I've also noticed a shortage of 10s. I often seem to get multiple 5s.

That's kinda neat, are they actually double sided? Someone at work had printed a $20 on the color laser printer (one side only) and was playing jokes on people like leaving it on the ground for them to pick it up and stuff. Thought it was funny.

I could see people fall for that though, when you go to a store or make a transaction with someone they're typically not going to start spending time to scrutinize the bill. Especially a busy store or other setting where the cashier has to be fast.

i remember listening to the breaking bad podcast where they talked about how all that fake money had to be accounted for at the end of the day by the company that supplied it. i guess those are a little more realistic.

I was just thinking the same, plus hookers and drug dealers would be easy pickings. Although the latter might get your ass killed but that's the risk you take.

something safer would be to stick a bill in some dog poop near a sidewalk and sit back and watch

I wonder if you could get around the legality by going to spring break or something and saying "I'll give you one of these if you show your tits" and after you give it to them you tell them it's prop money?

dunno, seems like in my part of the world, every time i pay with a 20 or higher the clerk marks/checks the bill with that special pen.
