Bought Rallisport Challenge on Xbox last night. WOW!!!

I am at a loss for words... so I'll keep it simple. BEST RACING GAME EVER! You can look up reviews yourself and listen to other people who know how to review professionally and get your info... but just remember what I just said.

Rallisport Challenge is freaking AWESOME!

how does that game compare to GT3 if you've played it?

Some of you might know, I'm an absolute HUGE racing fan, and I race everything I can get my hands on no matter the platform... games like Grand Prix Legends, Nascar 4/2002, Viper Racing, Colin Mcrae 2, F1 2001 have got more time on my PC than I care to admit. I've played every single Need for Speed ever made (yeah, even the original NFS on the 3DO which started it all). All of the Gran Turismo games (2 being my fav). Sega Rally on the Saturn for years. Top Gear and Top Gear II ruled! Burnout is fun with friends. Anyone remember Wipeout on the PC? Used to play that online way back when the internet gaming scene was but a handfull of people. Moto Racer through Kali. The list goes on and on and on and on. If it was a good racing game, I've played it.

I LOVE racing and I love to play racing games. So keep all of this in mind when I tell you what I'm about to tell you...

Rallisport Challenge is just simply the greatest racing game we have EVER played (a small tight group of 5 gaming buddies and I). Period. End of story, no argument. My friends and I have "battle tested" it, and it stands the test like no game before it.

Forget any fanboyism, put aside any loyalty to any platform... look inside yourself and try to remember what about gaming you like so much, what drew you to it. RSC simply has EVERYTHING there, and it captures all of those feelings completely.

When we play Rallisport Challenge, it just has that certain "magic" about it. The quality, the details, oh my the details. So many "little things" that it boggles my mind. The control... PERFECT. The graphics... AWE INSPIRING, the fun factor... UNMATCHED!

Get this game, rent it if you don't believe me, but your just wasting your $5 rental fee, cause when you play it, you will be RUNNING to the store to buy it. If you don't have an Xbox... GO GET ONE NOW!!! BUY this game NOW! OMG.... someone get me some oxygen.
 
I'm working at a Gamestop now and we have it up on display...

IMO, its a good game, but still not what I would consider the BEST RACING GAME EVAR!!!1!!~

Oh and Rival, Wreckless is ok for about 20 minutes.. then you get bored or frustrated.
 
Well...I just placed my order for the game (and Jet Set Radio Future) from Gamestop.com, so hopefully I'll have it on Wednesday or Thursday. I have Project Ghotam, and while it is fun, I'm suffering from the 'Gran Turismo' effect. GT3 was the first of the series that I actually played...and man...I played it for hours and hours. So basically its ruined every other racing game out there for me 🙂 🙁 .

I'm looking forward to playing this (and thank goodness for widescreen support, I can play with my snazzy 16:9 enhanced mode on tha WEGA 😀 ).

I don't get what the big deal is over GT3. GT1 was groundbreaking, but the other two bored me to death after about 5 minutes. I guess I was expecting more graphically from the PS2.

Rallisport Challenge does look awesome. I'm getting an XBox (when I can afford it) for RSC, JSRF, and Shenmue III. 🙂

How does it stack up to Test Drive V-Rally for the Dreamcast?
 
I own and play Test Drive V-Vally on the PC, so I can't speak for or against the DC version, but I would assume the PC version is just as good, if not maybe even better. RalliSport Challenge is WAAAY better than that game. Not that V-Rally sucks, it's a good game, it's just RSC is that awesome!
 
Was this game made by Microsoft or one of its puppet companies? If so, are they planning on releasing it for the PC?

I hope so, I looooooooooooooooooooove rally games.
 
The game was made by DICE, and published by Microsoft. They are a Microsoft 2nd party developer, so it is exclusive to Xbox.
 
another vote for this game rocks!! i just picked it up today actually and so far i love it.

NHL 2002 is my favorite game so far for xbox.
 
Just got done playing multiplayer with my brother and two friends, and let me just say this... DAYAMNNNNNN, multiplayer is absolutely freaking killer! I was amazed at how good it looks playing MP, we had a hard time telling it looked different... which is amazing. Usually games like these town down the graphics when you're not in single player, but not this game.

Oh my goodness, it was SO funny too, because we were wrecking each other and bump'n-an-bangin all the while everyone fighting for the lead. There were some hilarious moments tonight.

Heck, most fun I've had gaming in a VERY long time! I mean, it was all oldschool gaming madness fun crazy tonight. What a riot!

Me LOVES this game!!! 🙂
