Didn't know about this, thanks. I'm pretty sure I'd still need to bag some up but this could save lots of timejust mulch it.

A snow blower? What is this thing that you speak of? Snow blower.:hmm:
You are just creating your own destruction by adding to the global-climate-change that is caused by your laziness.
just mulch it.
I got my snowblower approval after my wife tried shovelling snow for ten minutes

Sweet. Think it'll sling mud too. Not much snow in SC.
I have a similar snow blower. The single stage is fine for most of the snow we get here in SE Michigan. It doesn't like wet, heavy snow much, though.I didn't want to spend a grand, and to take advantage of my 0% financing with Sears I was pretty much stuck with Craftsman, so I got this one:

Talk about profit: It turned a 3-4+ hour job into a 20 minute one, with no back-breaking labor involved (it had no problem with 12" drifts; only chugged a bit when I was at the end of the drive where the snowplows had made their compacted ridges). The only annoying thing is having to bend over to turn the chute.
$500+ might seem like a lot for something you might not use that often, but if you live where it snows and you have any kind of driveway at all - you gotta get a snowblower. The last few years of shoveling have been hell. No more.

The 4-stroke engines are much easier to start than my old 2-stroke. I think I have used the electric start a half-dozen times. Even on the coldest days it will fire up on the first or second pull of the starter cord.
I have about half a mile of driveway to shovel and when it snows i don't go to the gym, talk about profit, i save money on doing something i need to do that is both cardio and full body movement.
And i'm retired so i usually don't have to be anywhere except when i want to, so i can take the time.
Wait a minute, a half mile, lets say 2450ft X 10ft (width)=24,500ft (area) of snow to shovel, I'm calling shens on this one..
As a kid, our drive was 10 car lengths by 3. That was a 2-3 hour job with 3 boys and my dad with 6" snowfall.
That lasted for 2 years.
Third year, a lawn tractor and snow blower attachment showed up over the summer.
Figure a car (at that time) being 20 ft long and 8 ft wide; that drive was 200ft by 24ft.
And a plow on a truck, or larger lawn tractor with a plow would have taken care of the job in 5 minutes. 😛
