Looks good. At some point I may get into rebuildables. Hows that Russian vape?

Its like a Cadillac. I chose the Russian over the Kayfun for several reasons, which I wont go into here, but its really a great RBA. The adjustable airflow, in the way its implemented in the Russian 91%, is simply a game changer.

Holy MOSES!

I have a question about how the clearomizer makes contact with the battery connection pin on the top of a mod. I noticed that my tanks screw down all the way flush and I was wondering how on earth they got the distance between connection pins to be so perfect. I noticed that on my new tanks, the center pins actually move. So they come out of the box extended a little, then when you tighten them down they move back as you tighten. I'm thinking that might lose connection at some point and have to be readjusted, but we'll see. My original tank fit flush as well and I'm wondering how they manage the distance between connection pins so well. I would think a lot of the tanks out there simply wouldn't have a connection with the battery pin on the top of the mod, or else they would bottom out early and have to sit high up.

OK, so my battery light just indicated that it was starting to get low. Its been roughly 30 hours since I started using it. Its also a weekend and I was up until 2:30am, vaping like a demon on this thing. Not bad duration for a single, 1100mah battery and basically chain vaping fairly frequently.
I popped in the second battery and am now recharging the first. Sad thing is, it looks like I won't NEED to use my backup Ego unit, but I will anyway. Its great to have two flavors at my disposal. But if two is good, would 3 be better?

EDIT: Most importantly, I've had no desire to use tobacco since I started vaping. Talk about a WIN!

You pretty much have it figured. Many atomizers and PVs use a rubber or silicone grommet to insulate the positive pin and negative body from each other. The insulators can compress giving some degree of automatic adjustment.

Sometimes an overtightened or poorly made atomizer will shove its own or the PV's pin down into the insulator so far that it doesn't spring back creating a potential problem when attaching other atomizers with a slightly shorter 510 connector. This can often be remedied by pulling the pin back out with tweezers or other tool. Other times it tears the insulator and the problem will frequently reoccur.

I messed up the insulator on my Vamo with a cheap atomizer which used a harder material for its insulator. I was able to fix it by pulling the pin of the Vamo up and sliding a small o-ring over the head of it.

The pin on some APVs, atomizers and almost all mech mods are either spring loaded or use a threaded pin to allow for adjustment. These types may use a delrin or similar material as the insulator. These materials are more durable and lessen the chance of lateral movement causing a short.

Well this is going to be an expensive hobby, I got a sudden urge yesterday to start vaping so I did some research and ended up ordering an Evic + Aspire. Naturally an hour later I see the Siam mod, of course I want it and of course it only seems to be sold on 1 site which is overseas - WTF! Apparently I need to do more research, but does anyone know of a place in the US where I can order the Siam tube mod? If I gotta order it from the Denmark site, or where ever it is, I will but I'd prefer to keep it local to save some $$$.

Sorry QueBert, but I'm not familiar with those =(

On another note, I've been trying my DAMNDEST to finish this mega tank during the work day (9 hours) and I don't think I can make it with only 30 minutes left. The tank seemed to go fast before, but I put it to the test today, starting with a full tank and been chain vaping a lot all day. No go. Can't vape it in a work day. By tonight, yeah probably.
Been getting along fine with 18mg. No coughing or noticeable health effects. Running 5 miles feels the same as before. I DO cough sometimes when taking a monster lung hit however :D
No more tobacco! Fuckin VAPE ON BITCHES!

Also, AB1500 (California) would have made it illegal to buy or sell any e-cig product over the internet. Bastards tried and failed. I guess they want e-cigs to die so more Americans continue to die from tobacco products every year.

Wow.

A bill aimed to prevent children (shocker) from getting access to tobacco by banning a product that does not use tobacco and in fact is used to quit smoking tobacco.

Evic is a great device. I had one before the ProVari.

My friend just got an Evic and its pretty awesome. Very techy.

My Sigelei Zmax V5 came in today. It is pretty nice, good ego and 510 threading- stainless steel!

Loving my new EVIC Supreme, but he's probably going to be living more by the computer more or for long usage.

I've used it a week now more or less, and this just come in for at work usage.

Might actually leave the beauty ring from the Nautilus on it, keeps the tank up in the air when you lay it on its side, makes a nice little pommel for holding it also.

That and leaves the airflow wide open.

Now all I have to do it figure out how to overclock it, and stick an aftermarket fan on it, he he.

:p

Not bad for just under $35 bucks for both, a 16500 battery, and that little Mini Vivi tank impressed me enough right off the bat I just ordered two more just now and a set of coils for em, I wanted to see if I liked them before I started investing in tanks.

Vapes almost as well as the Evic Supreme, just not as flexible.

The Nautilus shall live on the Evic.

Think I'm done with hardware for awhile :)

Was still smoking a little bit at first, haven't since about 9AM Sunday.

Vape on, dudes

Got my Evic today already wishing I had sprung more $$$ for the Supreme. Also wishing I had got the Kanger Mega instead of the Aspire Nautilus, I'll probably buy the Mega just because 1 tank won't be enough.

And while I guess I shouldn't be shocked, I was somewhat surprised to see so many juice places offering Lemon Tea. The selection of juices is absolutely nuts. And I found a drip tip I want, of course the only place that sells it is in Germany and it will end up costing like $40 to get it here. I think I'll wait and poke around to find something in the US that's cheaper.

I am glad you like them too. I am looking at getting some pre-punched cargos for home use, but for on the go the Vivi Mini is solid.

From most accounts the Mega and the Nautilus are almost the same, the only real big difference is the Kanger Mega is much easier to get coils for as they are the same as most of the other Kanger tanks. And the Kanger Mega has very slightly more airflow. Either way, both tanks should be very similar in performance.

Very nice dude. Hey, any idea what the amp limit is on the Vivi mini? I've been tackling the learning curve about the effect a dual coil tank has on voltage/wattage, amp limits of the device etc etc.
My mini tank vapes great on my ego twist, but it could do better with a more powerful device. I was curious about that one you got there since its small.

Seriously, for 7 bucks get one of these here and just try it out.

I'm still not clear about limits etc.

I've been trying to stay in the lower ohm ranges personally, and still not even cranking the EVIC up above what it's rated at.

I did it once or twice just playing around and didn't blow it out, it can really cook things.

:)

I guess it came with a 1.8, I bought 5X 1.6's with the other two coming, have 1.6's for my Nautilus.

I bought an e-juice that tastes like soap. Its a mild lime flavor with a hint of Dial. Maybe i'll try that tank, but I think i'm totally overloaded with hardware right now (seriously).
Question though. How tight do you screw on your tanks? All the way down, or just until contact? I like them all the way down so they don't come loose, but I don't want to damage pins and stuff.

I just go slightly past contact myself.

Just a small amount of pressure.

As far as hardware I feel the same way atm, just thought I'd throw it out there again.
