"This is the AK-47, preferred weapon of your enemies. It makes a distinctive sound when fired at you."

The original Kalishnikov's were great weapons. We had several of them in our armory in Vietnam. Many of them carried them in place of the M-14 if we were going into "Indian Country" where the sound of an American weapon would bring instant attention.
The Chinese and other versions...not nearly as well made. (although that may have changed since 1972)

I bought it because it was $480 cheaper than I saw it at a gun show, and I didn't have one yet.

OMG an assualt rifle and clips! :p Is there a reason the lower part of the muzzle is longer? I have a feeling it wasn't designed like that just for aesthetics.

The barrel is the lower one. The muzzle is on the end. :p

Yeah and carrying one also had the opposite effect of drawing on friendly fire.

What is the point of something like this. I assume ordinary citizen wouldn't be able to get this weapon in NH. You only where able to get it because you were a cop. I would hope atleast.

I see,

1)Folding stock,
2)Bayonet w/mounting hardware,
3)Pistol grip,
4)Those mags have GOT to hold more than 10 rounds.

Are you a terrorist?:p

They are fun to shoot, look cool, chamber readily available ammunition from a number of suppliers (and milsurp), and are no more or less deadly than any other semiauto rifle of a similar caliber.

Sometimes I wonder if you're deliberately trying to be the least liked member of OT...

Well, if it's only purpose is "murder", than why do you think the cops should have them?

Maybe the cops should buy a weapon whose only purpose is "law enforcement". That's right, if the criminals or ordinary civilians try to fire it it just goes "clicky!"

Sort of like the AK-47 if you don't ensure that an innocent American civilian is standing behind your paper target when you pull the trigger...

whoa, that's way different from what he originally posted before the edit. It was along the lines of "OP, wouldn't you be someone against an ordinary citizen owning this gun?"
