Hey, I just realized that I haven't done that with mine yet. Hmmmm...

Check this out. I was on the patio and seen a contrail and decided to see what it would look like under thermal. As luck would have it a second plane came by and created a second contrail near the same flight path. Plane was too high to see in the camera though. It will see clouds. And as such satellites use IR to see during the night.

I wanted to see more clouds, but as luck would have it they all disappeared other than a few in the distance near the neighbor's tree which makes it hard to see.

I believe you can. I seen the watermark option, but never botherd to look at it. Primarily I always have to flip my video in the video editor and the watermark helps in knowing which way is up unless I have Temp units shown.
