It Is Official! I am White Trash. (Again)

I bought a new 2002 Trans Am yesterday. Sold my '93 a few days ago.

Black on black, 6 speed, Hurst shifter, Goodyear GS-C High performance tires and chrome wheels.

Realy wanted another red one but I was made a deal I couldnt refuse.

Would have liked a Ram Air but just couldnt see the extra $6,000 or more. Big dealer markups on them here. $4,000 over sticker at some places.

Funny when I bought the red one I wanted a black one and now that I wanted a red one I got black.

Pics will follow.

Hoping to do a dual spread with the '93 since it just moved across the street.

Aw, heck, just hook up your home to the new one and drag it across the street! 😉

LOL!

Very nice. 🙂

I really, really want a 1998 or later Z28, but I can't afford (or justify) paying comprehensive insurance on anything until my wreck drops off my record in 9 months. $400 a month to insure a Civic is insane.

But once my insurance drops...

Yea, they are sweet cars. Mt brother in law just ot a Firehawk last year. Wow, does that thing have power.

I would love to have a car like this, but I would lose my DL the first time I took it out. Stupid speeding habit.

Sweet ride. I love my 2002 Camro Z28. I kinda miss my 96 Formula though. The Camaro/Firebirds are the fastest cars for the money period!. Very underrated at 310h.p. Its more like 350-360h.p. Guys are running them in the 12's bone stock. Can't get much better then that. You need to go over to: www.ls1.com and www.ls1tech.com. Plenty of good info their.

Now aren't you a bit old for that kind of cruising ability? J/K, don't bite my head off.😛

My second car when I was 17 was a 78 Bandit Addition Trans Am, and I loved that car something fierce. The part that sucked was when I got my t-tops stolen three times in a two year span, locks and all.

Oh, BTW, very nice ride.

/me puts Time2Kill in the "I'm spoiled and my parents have too much money" category, along with Jerboy.

Have fun with Jerboy.

(my apologies if you actually pay for the car/insurance/gas yourself.... but I doubt it).

/me smacks head...

why did you get one of those?? i just dont understand it.>>

If you dont get it then you just dont get it.

Maybe because it is the only car that really turns me on that I can afford.

Maybe because it is one of the best handling, best equiped, most comfortable and best straight line performers available in my (or most peoples) price range. This doesnt even take in the killer looks because that is a personal like or dislike.

AND I just didnt "get one of those" , I replaced a 9 year old T/A so I knew exactly what I was getting.

Thanks, everybody for your comments.

I feel for those of you with insurance problems. I remember them well.

Hee, Hee.

Maybe I am but since Ive always had high performance vehicles I feel right at home. Just couldnt live with one of the more mundane types.

Buying a new T/A was like meeting an old friend that you hadnt seen for a while and finding out that they had matured to something better.

Besides, I've earned and deserve it.🙂
