Nothing much just a starter bike. Something I will not kill myself on right off the bat. I Will be looking at a 600 next year.

Yeah, they only had a yellow one in stock when I went looking. Had them order the all black bike for me.

nice bike.. and i would suggest ride it for more than a year.. you live in a region where 6 months of a year its too cold to ride.. so ride 2 seasons.

That's one reason I don't get a bike. I've crashed cars, I _know_ i'd crash a bike sooner or later, and it wouldn't be fun.

/edit: not to put you off or anything :D nice machine btw.

I got them to give me the helmet I picked out for free after I got the bike. ;)

They hold their value really well too...great to start with then sell for a few hundred bucks less then you bought it for.

Cool! Now don't wear a no-see'em black full face helmet. Go with silver or a light color.

I have >100k riding. Touring mostly.

Well it is an ARAI=one of the best. My ARAI is a Randy Mamola replica.

Boots, gloves, kevlar or leather jacket & kevlar lined jeans would be nice ;)

I have a MOTO Guzzi because I'm old and slow but don't walk with a limp :D

There is a '77 Ducati 900SS awaiting restoration here. Enjoy the ride, prove nothing to no one.
Keep the rubber side down. Take several MSF courses. Don't let "friends" ride it. Carry no
passenger for the first year. PM thegoodguy, he rides a GS 500 Suzi.

Nice bike dude. I've got a 2005 Kawasaki Ninja 250

MSF is a good idea, get good gear! Helmet, leather jacket, good gloves should be a minimum..

Have a lot of fun on that little bike! Once break-in is over, you'll have a good time wringing out that little engine's neck ;)

If you have any questions, just ask..

Very very good job with getting the 250. For a beginner, that bike will teach you more about riding than any 100 hp super sport can.

Those who start on 600s will deny this...they just don't realize how much the power of the bike has held them back.
