Bought a Gamecube

Just bought a Nintendo Gamecube yesterday. I have Mario Kart Double Dash and Zelda: The Wind Waker. The graphics are really bad compared to my PS2 but Mario Cart is fun.

Anyway what are some fun games for this thing?

Oh and Happy Canada Day.

I find the games on Gamecube are cheesy compared to PS2 or Xbox but for multiplayer Gamecube really rocks.

EDIT: Its a nice little system, my friend and I played Mario Kart for 6 hours last night and when I shut off the machine it was still cold. My slim PS2 is really hot after 30 mins.

Graphics are above those of the PS2.

Metroid Prime/Echoes
Resident Evil/RE4
Eternal Darkness(very early game, doesn't look current gen., but is great)
Pikmin 2
Viewtiful Joe
F-Zero
Alien Hominid

Cheezy games are the best games. I don't have the time to get into serious games.

For this exact reason I am going to get a WII.

After 1 day with a Gamecube I am definatly getting a WII.

I'm looking for a good slow multiplayer game. My friend has had multiple heart surgeries(sp?) and her response time is really bad. She couldn't even drive the Kart in Mario Kart on the easiest track. I want something she would find fun too. I really wanna try F-Zero but if she cant play Mario Kart she definatly wont be able to play F-Zero.

Animal Crossing is calm & leisurely.

Fire Emblem, Outlaw Golf, Mario Power Tennis, Mario Super Strikers, Gladius are some of my favorites.

Dear god, how did I forget the greatest game ever... Mario Golf.

I played that one a litlte bit and didn't really like it. I like the way you control your swing in outlaw golf - pull one of the analog sticks back until it hits the power percentage you want, then push it forward. Your accuracy depends on how straight you push the analog stick forward - a little to the right and you slice it, a little to the left and you hook it (assuming a right handed golfer).

I got gamecube 2 years ago just for Super Mario Golf. Only other game I have for it is Super Monkey Ball. I use my PS2 more often.
