Bought a FX35 to accompany my G37

Well, it's for the wife but I'll be driving it too. 2012 FX35 for about $33k out the door with 19600 miles (over 20k now). Wish it was a different color but I couldn't find a car for about that price that had Navigation and that wasn't a formal rental with less than 30k miles.

I live in the bay area and flew down to Los Angeles to buy this and drove it back up the next day. Drives great and is very comfortable. We needed this for the baby and for more space and the IS250 wasn't cutting it. Only drawback is the gas consumption and the visibility. We can work with both since the car has pretty good side/back cameras and commute is less than 3 miles each day.

Bulky is in right now, seems like every car has a huge front fascia. I think it looks good on most cars actually. I'm actually happy to see cars with near verticle front end now - since the late 90s we had too many swept front end cars. 🙁

It's not a style thing, although I tend to agree that it is a good look. It's being driven by pedestrian safety standards.
