Hey guys,

Some of you might remember if I asked you if you liked the Ratpadz or the Func 1030 better. Well I chose the Func and it came today. A mouse pad in a tin, a $20 mouspad in a tin LOL! I was immediately made fun of for it. So I broke it out and it has two sides of varying slipperiness, a little cord holder, and rubber mat base. Got it set and i've been using it for about 3 hours now. WOW... All I can say is it was 20 dollars well spent. I love this damn thing. Surfing forums or gaming everything seems better. It is just more comfortable to use. My MS optical mouse just glides on this thing. I'd say get one, they are nice. I'd say get this over the Ratpadz for sure too.

I also have the Func mouse pad. It is very nice. I can tell a day and night difference from the mouse pad I used to use. I use the rougher side because I still use a standard ball mouse, but the smooth side is supposed to be better for optical mouses.

The Func is very good. I got a free Ratpadz and hated the thing so much I gave it to my Dad. It felt like mousing on sandpaper.

The cool thing is you can pick the side you like. The smooth side is actually not as slick, it is a slower and gives a little more friction. However, it seems to be a little more accurate so if you are precision sniping you can use that. The other side that feels more "rough" is actually faster tracking and the mouse moves much easier. There is less surface contact with the mouse feet so there is less resistance. I am using the fast tracking side. The mouse just floats over it

These things would make great stocking stuffers though or <$20 gift for a friend.

I have the orange/blue fUnc 1030 and i love the damn thing. I mean, a mouse pad can only do so much, but i have no problems with the pad and I love the cord clip that it comes with. It's also the same pad Alienware uses.

yeah, fUnc rocks. Took me a while to get used to though, it was really so damn unbelieveably smooth. I had to lower my sensitivity by more than half in Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

I don't really like the rough side. definitely tell it was more designed for balls. it makes way too much noise for my lking.

Ratpadz is my favorite.

I didnt like func because it kept coming out of its rubber frame. Additionally, the ratpadz does not slide at all on the table. I guess its a personal thing, but i like the ratpadz gs much better
