Bought a Digital Piano

Decided to pick up a new instrument. The model I got was:

Now, I need to get started. Does anyone have any good resources on piano learning? E.g. posture/fingering, how to begin etc.

I tried a few at the store and they all feel similar (in the price range). I'm getting it delivered sometime next week so I haven't played on it much. The Kawai's get good reviews from most people I know.

I recently picked up a Casio Privia PX130 off of CL for $300. Feels and sounds very good.

Barack, do you have any musical experience on other instruments? Can you read music at all?

My teacher who was a professional jazz pianist and vocalist for 20 years recommended this book to me.

I recently picked up a Casio Privia PX130 off of CL for $300. Feels and sounds very good.

Second the PX130. For the price range, it's hard to beat what it offers. I bought mine used for about $310 and have no regrets.

I'd recommend lessons to start off with. I've been playing for a little over 13 years and remember way back how many times I got my posture and position corrected by my teacher. Really helps once you start getting to the harder pieces.
