2015 Lexus RC 350 F Sport. Atomic Silver with Red interior to replace my current G37s coupe.
I flew from San Francisco to LA to buy this since I was able to get a much better deal down near Burbank. Going to drive it back up tomorrow right after breakfast.
Goes without saying that the technology is awesome in the car. I haven't driven it much but so far the ride is satisfactory. The steering is a bit light and not tight like in my G37 but perhaps it can be tweaked. The menu controls are all over the place and the haptic touchpad seems a bit gimmicky. But overall I like it.

never looked closely at this car. Damn, it sure is angular. Nice rice. Lexus really does make nice cars.
 
You're going to drone that thing at a set RPM/speed on the 5?

Terrible break-in. I hope you at least gun that a few times over and over and over and over and over and over.

Pretty sure your manual will say vary your speed/rpms.

It already has about a 100 miles on it in stop/go traffic in LA. I think I'll be fine.
 
Wow was expecting a camry or civic or something, awesome. I didn't even know lexus made those, more pics plz!

edit: Wow the RC-F has 460something hp; how did i miss this thing

Ain't it the truth? I've flown down to Orange County for the last two new cars I've bought. LA/OC has so many car dealers and they're pretty cutthroat competing with each other. It was worth the $150 for a Southwest flight and eight hour drive home to save $3500-$4000.

Oh, awesome car.

I didn't know about the deals either until I started looking on yelp. I came across some brokers/lease agents and they were advertising prices way way below what I was quoted here. And they turned out to be true. Flew down and drove it back.
 
Nice ride. Not 100% on the styling, but it definitely stands out. Saw one in the road the other day (same color) and it stood out big time.

In case you didn't know: RC 350 F Sport = RC 350 w/ Sport Package != RC-F

Congrats on the new ride, that interior really pops.
 
congrats dude. I love my new 2014 IS350 Fsport. black w/ that same awesome rioja red interior. my only complaint (and this is w/ all lexuses now) is that they removed the sunglasses holder to put that useless lexus enform button. Basically I put all my users manuals in the trunk and using the glove box to hold those type of things. Pretty minor complaint when it's all said and done

I like it - very nice. Not a huge fan of that digital gauge (they could have made it a bit less boring to match the otherwise very aggressive exterior/interior). I'm a huge fan of the front end style on those... I know many people don't like them... but it looks so aggressive.

Also - fantastic choice in color combo...

Heh. This was introduced this year so there aren't many on the road yet. Yeah, it could use a bit more power and the price could be better. But I did get a great deal on the lease and got the Mark Levinson 18 spkr surround with Nav and all the other goodies minus the dynamic steering. I'm happy for now until I get the itch to get something with more oomph.

Yeah. I didn't know that and the compartment under the armrest isn't very big either. It's missing the cup holders on the doors and there isn't any place to put your phone except on the platform right in front of the Nav which is a pretty stupid place to put stuff that will impede your navigation display.
The car's not perfect but it's well made and looks good. It has power but my G37 provides more pull; it would have been nice to have a 350hp engine in the car but they stuck with the old 2007 era engine.
Once the lease is over, I'll likely get something else other than Lexus. My opinion is that Lexus tries to mish-mash a lot of things alltogether but that way it loses its identity. It's trying to do many things right at the same time but fails. My G37 feels like a sports car first and luxury car second.
It's still a great dependable and good looking car to drive even after all the above.

what?! the digital gauges are so cool. probably one of the best parts of these cars. honestly, what else do you think they could have added to them? and yeah, i also feel the predator grill is awesome, at least on the RC, GS and IS.


Also, don't mean to hijack your thread, but I just happened to pick this up for my car while i'm in Japan, good for a +50HP boost 🙂
