"4 pairs of $200 jeans" = gold plated ass

on a hot chic that might be irresistibly alluring (depending [not depends haha]}.

On a guy, not so much

I want my jeans to tell a story.

Here's the story your jeans tell:

I'm a douchenozzle who doesn't know what to do with his money... and since i bought jeans this skinny & tight.. i have no nutsack.. so your women are safe.. but your gay men are not.

I want my jeans to tell a story.

Also, the ones I bought are made in USA. I do not like to send money to China if I can help it.

They would probably have more interesting stories coming from the sweatshops in China.

Jeans tell a story when YOU do things to add character marks. The only story those tell is you frivolously waste money.

problem with prestained jeans is that when you wear jeans that you wore the hell out of yourself, people assume you're a prestained buying d-bag.

did i just read that you wanted your jeans to "tell a story"?

jeans: "well JMapleton, once upon a time there was a dumbass kid with so much extra money that he bought four (4) two-hundred dollar pairs of jeans."

seriously man, you just spent 800 bucks on pants...

end yourself son

But it's still fun.

I don't know, expensive jeans were so 2007. When I was in my mid 20's, not married, and didn't give a shit about money. Now I'm almost 30, married, and don't give a shit about my jeans.

Tell you what, though, for what the OP spent today, that same money gets a very high quality suit with final alterations. These days, a good suit is more important than my jeans.

You cannot get a high end suit for $450 and what would I use it for? Even the CEO of my company doesn't wear a suit.

Suits are terribly pointless and just uncomfortable and society has forced this useless dress code on us.

Sounded like a brand of ice cream so I looked it up on Amazon. For a mere $250/pair my wife says she will go to a thrift shop, buy some jeans in your size, rip them up a bit, sew them back together, and ship them to you.

My jeans aren't "ripped up". And as far as price, I didn't pay anywhere near sticker.

However, they're not all that great and barely any better than my $50 jeans.

I did get a cool belt with them, though. 🙂

Nordstrom Rack has 7-famk jeans for $100. I always thought it was ridiculous. The whole point of jeans is to be rugged affordable attire.

Different strokes for different folks. Would you happen to be Asian by any chance JM? Only reason I ask is that different cultures tend to have different spending habits. A lot of Asians like to save every penny they can when it comes to all their other purchases but don't mind splurging big on food and clothes.

Personally I'd just buy close to the cheapest shit I could find when it comes to cloths. I like spending my money on tech toys and gadgets and save on everything else.

The head of mine does, and so do first year analysts. Hell, so do the interns.

$450 can get you a MTM suit if you know how to shop. It won't have a label, though, which I can see being a bit of a turnoff for you.

I've worn suits on occasion and I can assure you a proper suit is far more comfortable than a pair of tight-ass jeans. I wish I had a job that required me to wears suits all day.

Will the suit be pre-ripped and stained and have an option for a "slim" fit?

If not, count me out.

After 6 years of wearing these "jeans" ...

... and then earning a college education, I am very happy not wearing jeans anymore. I am very happy with my current career uniform that requires "business casual" or above.

Now those "jeans" tell a story.

No I'm not Asian. But I've noticed some Asians are very brand conscious. Not be racist, just an observation. All cultures are different. I don't judge anyone.
