is there any BT client that i can make run over port 80? because my college blocks the BT ports and i cant use it from here

my school blocks everything. we cant use IRC because its a securiity risk, they let kazaa run but just limit the bandwidth
 
If your network admins specifically blocked bittorrent's default ports they probably had reasons, security or not.

And just so you know bittorrent traffic is easily distinguished from normal HTTP traffic, so if they are monitoring their network it won't take long to see what you're doing.
 
i know i know they dont block the ports because bittorrent uses them they block everything. and only open what they need to
 
Which is the proper way to setup a secure network. Since they're atleast semi-competent I would hope they also run a snort sensor, in that cause you'll probably have several hundred alerts in your name by morning if you download something via bittorrent tonight.
