Bottm line... it's far too early to give a good recommendation to any of them yet.
Personally, I've bit onto the a8n-sli hook this past weekend. I figure the worst that could happen is that I end up selling it for half the price I paid for it on ebay or something somewhere down the line this year, and that's only if I don't like it.
Though the non-SLI boards seem a much safer risk in my opinion for the short-term. Like everyone told me, we really have to wait a month to see what the real fallout of the mobo battlefield will be.
I was absolutely positive I wanted pci express though since I'd be able to keep my graphics card if I switched mobos. I would hate to have to change both my graphics chip and mobo with an upgrade.
I think there is really no reason to agonize over it too much, just make sure that everything but your mobo is something you'd see yourself moving into the future with, and then get any pci-e mobo that has features you like and become an early adopter and have some fun with new technology.
Like I said, worst thing that happens is you have to sell it for a lesser price and use that money for a downpayment on your next one.
