Bottled water

I need a good brand of bottled water. I can never seem to find one that doesn't have a TASTE to it. Maybe it's because I'm used to drinking tap water...What brand is good?

I think all you can do is try different brands until you find one you like. They're all going to have a "taste" to a certain degree. It's just a matter of finding a taste you like.

All the bottled water I've gotten that is called "iceberg water" (they actually take the water from icebergs) have no after taste.

I don't buy water though, as we have awesome tap water here.

i like volvic or evian.

there is a difference when it comes to bottled water.

luckily my tap water is good for drinking so i dont have to buy it.

*kat. <-- buys water when she goes to toronto.

what's wrong with the water in TO?

and how come you put *kat at the end of the message.. just curious 🙂

That weird taste at WalMart is plastic.

Distilled water has the most neutral taste.

You might try filtering your water and bottling it yourself. I use an end of faucet carbon filter and THEN a Brita.

our water sucks here, so we go to a water store by my apartment and fill up on 16 Gallons of water.

Eakers,

I agree, the water in TO is NASTY! We used to have good water in Kitchener, (all from wells, very very little chlorination) but now that we mix it in with water from the Grand River, it has more chlorine and tastes pretty awful.

As far as bottled water goes, I prefer Dasani or Evian. All the cheap bottled water tastes stale to me. Personally, I buy water for my cooler from a place that has the same filtration system as Dasani uses. Yummy!

I used to row in high school and when we went on trips and stuff they would buy huge crates of Zephyr Hills water, ever since i've been hooked on it and actually buy it myself sometimes.

Lately I've breen drinking the Dasani brand (it's bottled by Coca Cola), it has just a trace of mineral content so it's not completely flat tasting. To be a little more cost effective I just run tap water through the Brita at home, most of the time.

You haven't tasted horrible water unless you have tasted Southern Louisiana's. It is the most awful water! I have never seen so many people that buy bottled water...
