Bother to ask a girl out more than once?

well u really have to be honet with yourself. sometimes... u might not know that chick too well and u might be jumping the gun by asking her out. then when she gets to know u better, her answer might be different from the first time around. if u already know her quite well and she says no... i'd prolly just back off.

Keep asking them out? Using what?!?! My confidence has arleady been shot. My self esteem can only sustain one turn down. Then several months of recuperation would provide me with enough courage to ask someone else. How does that saying go - Once bitten, twice shy.

I am kinda like this also, I can barely ask a girl once let alone a third time.

I think most females have the natural submissive instinct where as they say, likes to be "persued" (being courted by males multiple times), atleast this explains why most women seeks out the "jerks", who btw happily plays the part.

Unless her reason was "currently occupied" and that has changed, I would not ask again. If she wasn't interested, I would not bother again because she either is not interested or playing games.

I asked this girl out my second year at university, she gave me her number, but I waited too long to call her and I mumbeled my way through the phone call and decided not to ask her out because I didn't know what to do. I was also a nervous wreck. The following year I saw her on campus and asked her out (new year, new rules) I wasn't much different from the previous year except I was a little ballsier. She said she had a boyfriend, but I think she was just too nice to say no. Last year I spoke with her once and avoided her twice. This coming school year I'm going to ask her out. This is my last chance because we both graduate in 2 semesters.

I think I got my game together. ask me at the end of september if I got the date. I just hope she really doesn't have a BF, because I got my line down and everything.

asked a girl out three times first 2 she said no on the third we went out and had a great time but she had a boyfriend at the time, but after that everytime she saw me she would come up and hug me and i'm just waiting for school to start again so i can see her.

i say 2-3 is my limit.

i myself have a three strike rule thats very flexible. it really depends on the situation. you basically have to decide on whether you are getting good vibes from the girl. if she's a naturally quiet type, its gonna be quite hard but still doable.

when you ask a girL out for the first time...try not to make it seem too forced. none of that "do you want to go out with me?" stuff. it's better if you guys have done some group activity together before and you already got good vibes. going up to a girl that hasnt really hung out with you before and saying something like "you wanna go out to dinner" is setting yourself up for a rejection even though she doesnt personally reject you. she just rejects the situation of having dinner alone with someone she doesnt really know too well.

it took me several rejections to figure out when and how to ask girls out. so dont be afraid of rejections..its all a learning experience.

a good idea is to not have all your eggs in one basket. you can totally ruin your self-esteem that way. think of it as trying to get to know people better...not as a hunt for a girlfriend.

My reason in saying that you should ask a girl out more than once is because some women, except me and most of the great gals here, like to play games. They enjoy being persued because it flatters them and it's positive attention. They may just be saying "no" the first time to get you to ask again. I guess you would really have to be interested in a girl to put up with these crappy mind games. If you aren't just forget about her and go on to the next hot chic.

Oh crap.

Anyway, about girls playing games. I won't exactly say that they're playing mind games but they just enjoy the attention that some guys give them. By asking them out and persuading them, they'll feel wanted and popular. I guess that's what most of the girls these days want. I gave up after calling for a month and sending SMS to her and yet she never replies me or calls me back. Can you imagine a girl in an advertising major telling me that she does not have time for me at all. NOT EVEN THE WEEKENDS. That's BS crap. I late found out she has a bf. biatch
