i would have posted on P&N, but i have nothing constructive to say, thus ATOT it is :)

CNN

"The dig has been plagued by soaring costs and long delays. The cost ballooned from $2.6 billion to $14.6 billion."

years and years of delays, and 7x over budget :Q WTFBBQ

talk about incompetant.

and i bet in a couple of years when they do a study, they would say the project didnt help traffic at all. and wasted all that taxpayer $.

geez.. no wonder why everyone wants to go into govt contracting. there's no fiscal responsibility or consequences whatsoever nowadays. :disgust: :|

yay government contracting!

although, it is pretty neat that the superhighway runs underneath the city. kinda weird when you make a turn into a building to get on it, though.

Well it looks way better than those elevated highways they used to have. Did they get to taking them down yet?
