Who committed the Boston Marathon Bombing?

  • U.S. Government -- black flag operation

  • Anti-Tax Militia. It's Tax Day, after all.

  • Foreign-born Islamicists

  • Domestic-born Islamicists (sudden jihad syndrome?)

  • Christian Extremists

  • The Jews!

  • Mexican Drug Lords

  • The Mafia

  • Saddam Hussein's Operatives (the George Bush option)

  • Lone nut who doesn't fit any of the above categories

Anyone can lie in a poll. Sometimes its the loudest supporters you have to watch out for.

You understand that there can also be Muslim sympathizers. They will not strap a bomb on their backs or blow themselves up however, they can divulge sensitive information about installations they work at and so on and so on.

It is not easy to plan a bombing as one would think after 9/11. Don't you give your Country any credit as an American?

You ever wonder the amount of "secret" Muslim sympathizers and ones that would be willing to give information out if asked to organized Muslim terrorist cells.

Unless you can refute that, then I apologize for thinking the way I do then.

Muslim sympathizers?

WTF?

I had no idea the cure for phallus minimus is saying this 75 times

Gotta keep pounding the truth home as there are many in this thread trying to down play this fact.

Oh...it wasn't really muslims or radical islam. It could be something else. No, not radical islam muslims...that just can't be.

Head in the sand fuckstains the lot of you who think like this.

Too much JihadWatch..what do you seek at that site? Some sort of comfort?

I am not even American so why am I defending you all now? Why do I even bother defending America?

I lived in Canada and traveled to many other Countries in my life time. I have met many Muslims in different capacities.

Believe me when I say that when some of them are in private and feel comfortable to talk. You cannot imagine the things they say about their particular Western society. Especially towards Americans.

Now, not all of them speak like this and the ones who do still enjoy the "freedom" of the Western societies.

Of course I shut my mouth and listen to them go on and on but then I secretly ask myself why they don't move to an Islamic Country if they really feel that way.

I know talk is cheap but history has shown that some really do want to take it a step further.

Anyway, why do I even bother?

good luck to you Americans!

I just hope they dont get kill the other Muslim who took part in the bombings, it would be great to hear his reasoning for doing it...Once he tells his story then take him to the street where he dropped his bombs at and let the populace show him their "love" for all i care.

I'm willing to bet most posters at AT look at your pounding and laugh at you.
You seem to believe the more you pound your head on the concrete that more people will start doing it too

I'm Canadian

So they caught them. And? How will this change anything really?

I'm not saying catching them is a bad thing but it doesn't solve the big problem. Neither does drone strikes, increased security or any of that stuff.

I was in a rush.

I meant Muslims who feel that Western Countries are slaughtering innocent Muslims in the Middle east.

Some might see the Muslims fighting America as "freedom fighters".

The West has perfected the art of killing. As for "Muslims," I don't think there are too many of them since their countries are just as corrupt and violent as the Western countries. All a bunch of BS hiding behind so-called religion.

People identify with other people to alleviate their fears or to feel a sense of companionship. Though it may have nothing at all to do with reality. It's their weakness that likely creates hatred.

Uncle's take on his terrorist nephew:

"Asked what he thought provoked the bombings, Tsarni said: "Being losers, hatred to those who were able to settle themselves. These are the only reasons I can imagine of. Anything else, anything else to do with religion, with Islam, it's a fraud, it's a fake."

Tsarni, who described himself as Muslim, said his brother left the U.S. and he had not talked to him since 2009. He said they had a personal falling out but did not elaborate.

Chechnya has been plagued by an Islamic insurgency that has carried out deadly bombings.

Tsarni said vehemently that Chechnya had nothing to do with the attack."

Of course, as ALWAYS, Islam is never at fault...Even 9/11 was just anger at something else [yea right!].

Every day there is a news report about innocent Muslims being slaughtered by American drones etc.
Why aren't you worried about Americans leading a raid on your village?
Hopefully..you have a billion other things on the top of your list of things to do

If they capture Dzhokhar Tsarnaev alive, I wonder if they will use 'enhanced' interrogation techniques to see if any other attacks are planned and to find out what their motivation was...

wonder how many people would have a problem with that...

That does seem likely.

Intuitively it seems improbable to me that this was an action undertaken through coordination with any international terrorist group, though one never knows. I would expect the older brother believed this was an act of jihad, so I would characterize it as Islamic terrorism, but the dynamics of this crime, to me, have just as much in common with other awful crimes committed by isolated wackos as with traditional terrorist acts. On the other hand, I expect most suicide bombers also have a certain lone-wackiness about them as well.

I think "Islamic terrorism" is legitimately used to describe what is a global identity for Islam as shaped by terrorist organizations. Where impressionable young people are called to arms after coming into contact with and then adopting this identity. They do not need command and control or meetings with the actual terrorist groups overseas. They simply become "part" of them through associative identity.

I think the only thing missing in this whole picture is a popular religious authority condemning (ALL) violence. If they had a Pope who saw such acts in the name of Islam and condemned them, it would go a long ways towards fostering an alternative to the militant identity these two young men took up and fought for. It, to me, is the most simple solution to the ongoing crisis of violence.

It would be very awesome indeed if there was a global Islamic identity that stood up with us against these violent acts. If America is to respond to hellacious acts such as this bombing, and September 11th - it should be to do everything in our power to foster that peaceful and co-existing identity.

We have failed to do our part, and need to try harder at taking steps in the right direction.

I know America will not repeat what they did during WW2.

Yes, I admit that it was wrong because many "good" Japanese men served and fought courageously with the US army in Europe.

But it is hard for the good not to suffer along with the bad. That is a world reality.

Yes, I am sure there are "good" Muslims in the USA as well who will suffer because of radical Islamic extremists.

Fact: Muslim terrorists whether foreign or domestic have attacked or tried to attack Americans on US soil or abroad. One cannot deny this.

Non-Muslim members here can feel free to defend their fellow American Muslims but guess what?

Can anyone here guarantee that a certain number of Muslim Americans whether domestic or foreign are not planning similar attacks or worse in the future?

Can a true Muslim hate? Can a true Christian hate? What is with labeling people. Just because a person goes to a Mosque, it does not make him a Muslim. Same with Christians. Unfortunately, we LOVE to classify people to something narrow.

So what is your solution? Should we bomb another Muslim country so that they leave us alone? How have the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan worked out? Have their created more hatred in this world or less?

America has probably killed more people in the last 100 years than any other country besides maybe Germany, Russia and China yet people call America a "Christian country." I'm sorry if I feel that there is no Christianity in this world. If it were, this world would be a lot better. Same goes for any other religion. It's all a big joke.

9/11 = 3,000 deaths.

Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan = maybe more than 1,000,000 deaths?

There is no one in this world whose hands are clean so lets not blame any other "religion."

Well..that's what al-Qaeda said right?

al-Qaeda explicitly cited three motives for its activities against Western countries: the presence of U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia,[124][125][126] U.S. support of Israel,[127][128] and sanctions against Iraq

Ya.. I know..the only time we can believe them is when one of them is yelling Holy War

Yes a true Muslim can hate. Hell, their religion allows them to kill non-believers and they go to heaven for it. Hate has been Islam's backbone from its start - If you were to believe Muslim sympathizers [otherwise known as liers], Islam self-defended itself from the small city of Mecca all the way across Northern Africa, and into Spain. For protecting themselves, they should did conquer alot of land!

Of course they also peacefully defended themselves all the way into Persia and India aswell, and into Eastern Europe.

If any religion allows hate today it is Islam. Its not PC to say it since its a large and active religion but denying it is just being naive. On the other hand we can vilify a religion such as what the Aztec's had where they cut out people's hearts while they were alive, but at the same time there are no Aztec religious followers around today to complain about it.

They might call themselves Muslims and might do certain things in the name of Allah but that doesn't make them religious people. People do terrible things in the name of religion but they NEVER follow the religion. If people lived a religious life, the world would be a very different place. Being religious and calling yourself a Muslim, Christian, Hindu are two different things. There are very few, if any people, who are actually religious.

I hear ya. Point taken.

Like I said, I am not an American so I bailing out of this thread now.

I am sorry for the Americans that died and any innocent people from any other country during the so called "war on terror".

More bombings will occur on US soil in particular (my opinion) and I will come back to give my sympathies to the Americans when that occurs🙁

take care....

Why so angry bro? :hmm:

Nobody here has commited any of these crimes. Calm the fuck down.

I'm sorry if I was a bit strong in my word choices. I wish violence would stop but that will only happen when people change. This is all people, not just one group of people. Thanks Remobz. 🙂

One should say radical Islam instead. I guess many religious groups (Buddhist as well?) have their extremists types.

Extremists in ANY religion can be potentially dangerous.

I listened to The Chinese American Friendship committee during the mid-70’s explain how it was necessary to exterminate 180million people to carry out the glorious Revolution. Mao was the greatest mass murderer of all time followed by Stalin killing at least 80. Hitler was a child’s game player when compared to Mao and Stalin.
