Yeah thats it, I went there once earlier this year to kill a boring thursday night with some friends.

Kinda fun, although I believe someone got killed near there recently.

I got out early from school, around 1 so me and a couple of buds thought we'd kill some time. I had nothing to do until work at 5 (JFK red line) and now because of the damn snow I'm stuck at work until 12 because the couriers are all delayed (usually I leave by 9:30). School cancelled or not, I'm not going. And yeah, Good times is a nice arcade but overly priced.

I just trudged through the snow three times back and forth from my dorm to the science center. My cheeks are almost frozen. 🙁 The snow is composed of pretty large ice crystals that hurt when the wind blows them at your face. Just when things were looking up, and spring looked on the threshold, we get this...

Here in Manchester, I had given my new Highlander in for emissions check and some servicing. They had finished, but forgotten to call me. After I called to check if it was done, I was dropped off to get it. In the meantime, they obviously had left it outside. There was a nice sheet of ice on the windows.

Meanwhile, because it was warm this morning, I had a relatively light jacket (thankfully, a wind breaker as well) and sneakers on. So, that was what I was wearing while scraping off the ice.

Thankfully, I can telecommute for work. If it's still bad tomorrow, I'm staying home.

Emissions check? We don't have emission testing in NH. Do you mean the new OBDII testing?

I don't know. I'm new here. It's a new car and they said I need an emissions check before I register it. 😕

Man, it's really getting nasty out there. I feel like I'm in one of those snow dome things.

Yeah, I am expecting to have college here in Waltham. We barely closed after the blizzard a month or so back.

Holy crap. I just made it into work about 15 minutes ago. Up here in southern NH, it's insane. The wind is so strong, it almost made me do a 180 on the highway a couple of times, and I was only going 30. When I came out tonight, my car was frozen solid from the rain we had earlier, and it took me about a 1/2 hour to get it mostly cleared off and scraped. I had to pour hot water on my doors just to get them open...

The ind is picking up now, and we are getting 50 MPH gusts, and the parking lot here has areas where it's bare, and a couple of inches away, there is a 3-4 foot snow drift. This weather is CRAZY.
