the world just start to end in teh last 2 hours or so?

this morning 45 - raining

5pm - 30, lil ice falling from the sky

now -18F feels liek 0F visability 2 feet? wind blowing like mad, gusting to 30mph, sky turning black.....

Dude in Maryland -

Yesterday 70 degrees.

Currently 22 degrees.

This morning the temperature dropped 20 degrees in ONE HOUR.
 
Not to mention 9999999^23586 lightyears per millisecond wind speeds, making my toilet water slosh.

in MD too.

i think it's gonna end soon man. I went to take in my barrels and they were covered in a sheet of ice.

Same here, but I doubt the electricity part. The snow isn't very heavy and there isn't enough of it to take down powerlines, plus the lines here are underground so it would be hard for them to fall. 😛
 
Yeah...no sh!t. When I drove home @ 7am this morning, it was 40 with rain. It's like 10F out there now with 35-40MPH wind and I have to drive to work in two hours....should be dandy.

I think we are getting more up here in southern NH...it changed over earlier up here.

southern NH should get much more snow. I was up by Andover/Lowell, and it was snowing pretty hard aroun 4. Back around Medford it became piercing shards of ice to the face.

The winds are actually supposed to get worse this evening and tomorrow morning as the storm moves away.

Oh yeah...and we could be getting another major storm Friday through Saturday...

Here in Manchester, I had given my new Highlander in for emissions check and some servicing. They had finished, but forgotten to call me. After I called to check if it was done, I was dropped off to get it. In the meantime, they obviously had left it outside. There was a nice sheet of ice on the windows.

Meanwhile, because it was warm this morning, I had a relatively light jacket (thankfully, a wind breaker as well) and sneakers on. So, that was what I was wearing while scraping off the ice.

Thankfully, I can telecommute for work. If it's still bad tomorrow, I'm staying home.

Emissions check? We don't have emission testing in NH. Do you mean the new OBDII testing?
 
It's horrible outside, you'll get cuts on your face from the hale/sleet if you go out in it.

Yeah, I just went from my dorm down to the cafeteria and back. It was awful. It was worse walking around outside tonight then it was in the blizzard 2 months back.
 
My electricity is flickering all over my house.

Lucky for me, I'm on a laptop 🙂

Hope it lasts till the morning, then school'll be cancelled!
