Been recovering from surgery and I feel good enough to go out. Heard of this store in the Dorchester area. Is it worth the trip?

You can buy soft taco shells in your local market. No need to drive a thousand miles for those.

That was yesterdays craving for the day wiseguy ;)

My poor wife has been working so hard, and I not able to help. Between taking care of me, her teaching obligations, and the kids, she is beat. I thought it nice if I could prepare something different, something good. Besides I have cabin fever like you cant believe.

There is also one in Allston as well as a food court. Funny enough but the best place there for food is a little brazilian place.

The Allston one is waaaaaaay bigger than the one around Chinatown in the theatre district of Boston.

I haven't been to the new store in Allston, but the Super 88 off the southeast expressway at South Bay is definitely worth the trip.
And their prices on many items beats places like Stop & Shop, too.

101 Allstate Rd., Dorchester, 617.541.5624
Open everyday 8:30am-12am

The original cramped store at 50 Herald St is a crowded dump though.
