it's an option for the 02 Blazer Extreme i am looking at is this even worth it?? i dont like big thumps i just want ultra clear sound and something that sounds like i am there..is this a good way to go?

I have the BOSE system in the Maxima and its good. The sound is clear and it has enough bass.

However if you plan on upgrading your system, don't go for the BOSE. If you plan on leaving it stock, then get the BOSE. Its pretty damn good, but no where near a custom sound system people have in their cars.

absolutely true. Take whatever money you save by not getting that option and get yourself some infinity speakers. They sound great and it will cost you a lot less.

For $600 you could get a new CD deck, a high quality amp, and Morel or Dynaudio components that blow away anything that Infinity/RF/Crystal/Bose/etc could possibly do.
