Looks good to me! :)

I've never been able to afford BOSE b/c of my computer habits :)

I'm not a big fan of Bose (Boy Our Shiz Expensive), but I think that the 141's are great speakers. They are small, look cheap, and have been around for ages. But they actually sound good, and their true power handling is impressive-they can play at fairly high volumes before distorting. For hometheater surrounds or small room/low budget systems, these should work well.

BTW-I don't believe these have any provision for wall mounting without penetrating the rear of the casing

Brutal reviews here.
Long story short, unless you drop SERIOUS coin on the highest end Bose, your getting pure crap.

Doesn't BOSE stand for Buy Other Sound Equipment?

For what its worth, you can buy better speakers than Bose at any price point. They use garbage for drivers and the overall quality of manufacturing can be likened to good boombox speakers.

If you are looking to buy speakers, please take an opportunity to go to the various home theater forums and www.audioreview.com.

Try this Bose FAQ, before buying anything (even the highest end) from this shrill marketing company which puts tiny drivers in plastic boxes.

These speakers don't have a tweeter. There are other (cheaper) speakers on that site that probably sound better.

totally off-topic, but it's friday so what the hey.

weird stuff on that CC home speakers page.

the infinity 175W Left floor speaker rates 4.7, but only 4.1 rating for the Right speaker.

did you see the Polk center channel for $999?!?!? I thought it was a misprint, but this center speaker has 4 drivers, 2 being used for sub frequencies, driven by an on-board 50W RMS amp. the beast weighs 53 pounds.

back on-topic. those bose bookshelf speakers generally don't sound very good. the 301's sound half decent, but they're ugly and expensive. go with other brands.

anyone try hooking up the 4 logitech z560's to a home receiver? do they sound better that way than hooked up to the sub?
