Your so full of sh!t Russ your eyes turned brown.

Nothing you have said has an ounce of validity.

Where is your source to back up your allegations?

That Bore is lying about wanting a manual recount in only four counties. That his REAL intent is to try and force the issue upon the whole state.

You haven't got any do you?

But the dems have proof and source to back up shrub, theI TRUST THE PEOPLE, suing the entire state about the recount.

BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Repeat after me:

Good morning GOVERNOR BUSH

Get used to it. ;)

The arrogance of some people on this bbs is annoying. Go ahead. Kowtow to Governor Bush as though he were your savior from RAMBUS.

Russ, Russ, Russ....I think maybe you read too much into Christopher's quote. (Gore hasn't said that....Christopher did...)

I think I noticed that word "all" too. I didn't think it to mean that a manual recount was going to be requested for all of Florida. (I read today that there is 72 hours to request manual recount, but not sure if true.)

I thought Christopher just meant that he wanted the manual recount to proceed for all the areas that had been requested.

I grant you his quote doesn't say that. But, I haven't seen or heard anything to suggest that the manual vote recount effort will be expanded.

I just read on MSNBC, that the Palm Beach recount results are now complete and may be released as soon as midnight tonight.

Russ: I voted for Gore, but I am not going to defend his actions. Personally, both candidates are acting like school yard bullies, trying to one up each other. Whoever wins is fine with me, as long as it is the result of a fair election for both parties.

I see some among us cannot read. Here's a clue for those who have failed in that: Read Warren Christopher's statement. If you can.

KarsinTheHutt,

You confuse arrogance with truth. Bore lost. He lost on election night; we've had a recount, and he still lost. He's a flopping fish laying on the dock.

ride525,

Thanks for actually responding to the topic of the thread. That puts you head and shoulders above the rest of Bore's supporters.

The REAL agenda is not just a manual recount of four counties as Bore would have you believe. He's going to try and hijack the election by forcing the hand counting of nearly 6 million ballots.

Nothing more than the typical diarea you spew to impress week minded members that you are so smart and savvy about politics. My My, you even ran for office. Dog catcher? No it was POC. You where a voting poll counting official?

All the above you posted is paranoid garbage just to ryle the members here who don't show the same ideals you do.

Edited/ The desired effect was achieved.

MUWAHAHAHAHA!!!! ;)

The grammar and spelling skills around here are so bad, it's nearly impossible to understand some people. Anyone have a 3rd grader I can borrow to interpret the gibberish?

Tripleshot,

Just a friendly suggestion: instead of trying to incite Russ enough so he returns your inflammatory remarks, which probably wouldn't work anyway since he's an R (or at least thinks like one), try using logic and sound argumentation sometime. It may take you places you?ve never been.

I understand how that might be difficult for you and antithetical to your nature but humor me and give it a whirl every so often. All caps, exclamation marks and outrageous assertions only get one so far. ;)

"2004 is owned by the democrats. Thats a fact."

I guess you're assuming Bush is going to win? If Gore pulls it out the otherwise is very much true.

ride525,

Thanks! It's nice that you are capable of a debate on the merits without personal attacks. You should come on over to the Conservative side, you would be welcomed.:D

I'm actually getting more and more conservative in my old age... :)

But, Bush really looks silly today, trying to block the manual recount. I'm not sure he can come out looking like a winner now. First, it would SHOCK me if the Bush prevailed in court. And, I think the American people support the manual recounts in close elections, and it's disappointing that he, or some of his advisors, didn't realize that, and the fact he apparently signed a Texas law giving some preference to manual recounts.....

That response from Russ shows that he did read my post. Every now and then I need to check to see if he can read. He has trouble responding to me unless he is attacked. He is good at attacking others, but he avoids me directly because he fears me for some childish reason. It goes back to his posts in a remote topic. His response is typical, and I knew it would draw him out.
He is trying to intice people to debate him,few feel up to it. He won't debate me,so I am telling him what others have said tonight. They are tired of his arrogance an inciteful neffing on the subject of this election.

So am I.

But I have a wife to give my attention to now,so I leave this discussion to you all to deal with.

I told you its all entertainment, nothing more.No one has won this election, and the winner gets a lump of coal when the final votes are tabulated. Thats my read. Russ can't spin any more than the proffesionals that Shrub hired or Gore hired. He should leave it to the Pro's.

Stand by for more whining when the results serve to affirm President-Elect Bush's lead. Coming soon, folks, tears and jeers from the losing side.

Hell, even after Bore finally admits defeat, I'm probably going to be going through this whole thing again here in Washington. Looks like our Senate race is headed for an automatic recount.:D

There will be no whining from me Russ. I quit careing about this election Tuesday(or early wednesday morning) It only has entertainment value now.Policies won't change,no promises made will be kept, and total gridlock in congress. It may be good for the economy, the gridlock that is. We'll see.

Curious how we are still waiting for the announcement

Bush and the Rs have an historic opportunity ahead. In spite of Gore's questionable tactics in FL and elsewhere, once Bush is elected will he still exercise compasionate conservatism and attempt to work hand-in-hand with democrats in congress? He could certainly impress many an amercian if he delivers on that promise to "get things done" especially on SS, the budget and medical freebies for the eldery.

JellyBaby had the right idea, 3shot I gave you a suggestion as well, use common sense and this stuff gets laid to waste. Look at this quote... Anyone intelligent enough and who actually listens, reads the news from sources other than the washington times, Rush Limbaugh, Micheal Medved, Micheal Regan etc... knows that the election has not been completed, the FL. S.O.S. says it won't be done till the 17th. Its hard to argue that this election is over if this election isn't over till he says its over. So far everything has been legal and legitimate, even Bush and his Federal Injunction to stop a electon process. Russ should really consider taking up a new handle since he had to start his own little thread outside of the ones where there was too much common sense and truth being used, I propose Wuss would better suit him. ;)

Shux,

Nice try. The only web site I check is the Clinton News Network. It does, and always has, through every democrat demand, shown that President-Elect Bush has won this election.

Apparently, since you assume that news sources are infallible, you stopped the process of analysis based on historical trends.

The outcome has not changed, and will not change.

Counties won:
Gore ? 677
Bush ? 2,434.

Square miles won:
Gore ? 580,134
Bush ? 2,427,039

Population of counties won:
Gore ? 127 million
Bush ? 143 million
:)

Add in media demoralizing Bush voters, absentee ballots to be counted, and the fact that so many ballots were thrown out across the country (millions), and the fact is we don't know who really won the popular vote.
