You think the fighters in pride fighting championship are unskilled? These 2 arent even close to being champions in there respected weight class. This fight is amazing in its action, but as far as skill goes it doesnt show much other than pure heart and desire to win.

And did anyone notice the japenese crowd? Other than being 80,000 in attendance, they are so polite. Instead of jumping out of there seats they clap. And when action gets slow they NEVER boo.

actually frye had won a few UFC tournys. but this was also in the early 90's before MMA got popular and the guys got pretty much trained in everything.

oh and the other guy was not evena MMA fighter. he was a Pro wrestler Takayama.


so no suprise this fight went the way it did.
