Being a tMNT fan, I know that all the turtles wore red, however, 99% of people will only "see" Leo if those are swapped to blue.

You need to add in Vanilla Ice standing over Leo's body... also... technically Leo's ummm cloth things should be blue and not red... red was Raphael... Orange was Mich, and Purple was Don....

but damn nice regardless

Leo was the leader, and always the strongest. Without him the turtles were nothing, they couldn't make up for the loss of him. That was why I chose him, though he's a fictional character, Leo represented pure courage and strength to many people growing up. The death of him is like the death of innocence and strength in good, making it the most impactful to look at.

I don't think it would have the same affect, or to the same degree, had it been another turtle.

Yeah it is, that doesn't mean it doesn't mean anything. Everyone I know who grew up with the turtles finds this touching, to whatever degree. I just did it because I wanted to make a cool drawing with some emotion, this was the first thing that came to mind. What I said still stands though.

you never answered my question from a previous post, but were you the one who drew the mech one also?

I did answer it above, and yes I drew the Mech in question.
