For the record, they generally ALWAYS have one of these promotions. Out of the last 5 or 6 books I've bought I've just searched for a coupon online before going to the store. Only once did I have to wait a few days for the next one to show up. The rewards cards are free so I just keep one in my glove box.

No it isn't. Try reading the expiration date (which says 9/10/06 = September 10th, 2006).
