Borderlands GOTY 7.49 on steam

In case anyone misses this, the GOTY at $7.50 includes all 4 of the DLC for it.

Don't make the mistake of buying the DLC and the base game separately, you'll pay an extra $5.
 
12 Gig download. Curse this slow DSL.
Two of the expansions have Securom with a five activation limit.
This does not bother me too much for the price. I've read that you don't use an activation until your character approaches the DLC area, and you are prompted for a serial number.

I love this game on PS3 - about half way through the main campaign. But each expansion costs $10 on the consoles, so getting the entire game with expansions for $7.50 is insane! Tempted to get in on this even though I'll need to start over.

i decided to pick up a copy myself...

unfortunately, i was having trouble with the steam client accessing the store, so i decided to try uninstall and reinstall.

i didn't realize uninstalling steam would wipe the entire steamapps directory as well. 110 gb of data now has to be redownloaded :/

Ouch! That'll take a while.

Got myself a copy of Borderlands GOTY. Deal is still good if you use the direct link, but I'm sure it will be over by the end of the day.
 
Good grief, this was a good deal. I bought in the end-of-the-year sale for like $19.75 or something, and thought THAT was hot!
 
Amazing deal.... have Borderlands and all my character saves on my 360 though... so I don't really want to split systems.
 
The link doesn't go directly to Borderlands. But when i search for it, the goty edition comes up as $29.99. Is it still available for 7.49 or is this dead?

So did I. Copy them to a memory stick and use Willowtree to convert them to PC format. That's what I did. Guess it's a little late now.
