I didn't have a chance to look it up to see everything about it. On the descrip page the level cap has been raised to 61.

but i am not going to get this until i finish the underdome. and as of right now... its not going well...
 
underdome scales to your level i believe.

it will always spawn xxx enemies. this is why it is easier with more people.. the number doesnt change..

so if you are by yourself u need to kill 50. with 4 people you still need to kill 50.

Played about 30 minutes of DLC3 last night. A lil' disappointed that they didn't add any new talents to the tree (that, combined with +11 points makes for some extremely homogenous character builds).

Also a little irked by the vehicular combat imbalance. Seems like enemies can blow up your car pretty quick. That + slow vehicle health regen = 🙁

Overall the difficulty feels pretty damn hard. Played with a buddy, both level 50 and well geared. I'm liking the difficulty for on-foot combat, vehicle combat is just angerrrrrr hard. I thought zombies was too easy and underdome was boring. Looking forward to playing more of this still.

Tuesday sounds good at this point. The only thing is I'm not normally on until 9 to 9:30 CST.
 
I just d/l the Armory last night. Haven't went to the new area just yet. I backtracked to finish up some of the side mission I didn't bother with before as roland was already getting close to level 50, already closing in on level 52 when I quit last night.

I'm not sure if it is just this DLC as it's the only one I have so far. If you plan on farming the chest in New Haven you might want to do so before getting it, as both the red chests have been changed to white ones.

no the update in the lastest patched changed the chest.

Borderlands Update 1.30 Notes

Addressed issues:
- Invalid weapons or items can no longer be loaded into the game
- Brick’s Centurion class mods now regenerate health correctly
- Brick’s Bombardier class mods now regenerate rockets correctly
- Roland’s Tactician class mods now regenerate shields correctly and display the correct bonus values
- Roland’s Rifleman class mods now apply damage increase to all machine guns
- Certain powerful legendary item names should now be displayed in the appropriate color
- Opening the bank in the Mad Moxxi DLC no longer prevents other players from moving
- Multiple copies of DLC missions can no longer be obtained

Balance adjustments:
- Chests in New Haven have been adjusted to contain more appropriate loot
- The duration of daze effects has been reduced to 6 seconds, and the amount by which it decreases the speed of enemies and their projectiles has been reduced
- Damage from shock elemental effects has been increased
- Repeater pistol damage has been slightly increased, accuracy slightly decreased
- Sniper Rifle critical hit bonus has been increased
 
Been playing it for a few nights now.

I've on came across 1 fasttravel / new u station and it's at the very beginning. No matter where I've been when doing a save & exit when I reload it starts me back there. I don't know if the other DLC do this also but I'm finding it a little annoying. Do the other DLC do this or is it just something in this one?

That's all there is and, yes, the others are like that too. IMO it's just an annoying gimmick to artificially lengthen the DLC content.
 
So far it's been pretty fun. Although having to travel back to where you left it off is a PIA.

Some may consider it spoilerish so:
I just did a side mission that opened up a nice new vehicle if playing with a team. It can hold 4 people and everyone has some kind of weapon to use. I haven't used it other than to just drive over to weapon vendor at the hub, but it seems to handle better than the monster.
 
Finished the storyline last night with my lvl 60 soldier. I tried the arena battle side mission and holy crap is it hard.

I did it with a group the other night on playthrough 1, it's insane. Haven't tried it on playthrough 2 yet.

Beat Knoxx on Playthrough 2 last night, that guy has a lot of damn hit points.

I was around 59 or 60 when I went against Knoxx last night on P2. He wasn't too bad, although all the crap that kept spawning made the battle a little more intense. I kept aiming at his head & tossing out my turrent when I could.

Kinda sucked afterward when raiding the chests, got a couple yellow/orange revolvers. I can't get seem to get any of the yellow/orange full auto combat rifles as a drop or even for sell. Although I did get a bit too greedy & didn't make it out before time ran out.

If you want to team up for the after knoxx missions on P2 I'm on most evenings. I'm planning on doing another re-spec & go back to support gunner.
 
Did a respec & went back to my support gunner mod to give that arena another try. I noticed that it wasn't doing like it did the first night I tried. The first night when I'd get killed & go back in, there were enemys left from when I died still running around. This time when I died they disappeared and only started spawning after I went to the center. Managed to make it through the 1st (cadat) round. Didn't try the next round as I it was time for some sleep.
 
Thanks for the assist on the circle of duty Boberfett. That was one tough arena, at least for my soldier.

I'm beginning to have my doubts about being able to solo crawmax with my soldier now.

My advice - stack up full on Super-HP kits, have a lowest CD turret build, drop the turret on one side to take his attention and run between the two pillars (run on the other side of the pillars). Remember to have a high RoF weapon for his weak spots (a low accuracy is nice too actually) and each of the 3 elemental weapons:

- incendiary for the green worm
- corrosive for the armored worm
- shock for the third one

Watch a solo Siren kill and so something similar (and no, not the glitched one 😛), just use the turret as a distraction until you run to the other side and hide (Siren does it with Phasewalk). No idea if the turret can survive long enough for you to make the rush though.

I actually saw a full-on Siren kill 😛 Never managed to stay alive long enough to do it myself - managed with the hiding tactic thoough. And now I'm just cheese-killing him, glitch + ricochet SMG for the back spot 😛 You can cheese-kill him too, deply the turret to grab his attention and run for the safe-spot. Still, it requires a high RoF ricochet gun to kill (got mine from Armory runs).

EDIT: And if you guys want to team up, just let me know. I can help you out with stuff 🙂 Just tell me when. And I never tried it on Borderlands, so be gentle 😛

So when is the best time to play this DLC? I just beat Playthrough 1 and started Playthrough 2 this past weekend. I'm a level 40 Hunter. Does being on P1 or P2 affect the DLC?
