Borderlands: Crawmerax - Anyone want to help me kill him?

Hey all!

I'm needing a bit of help killing Crawmerax. I have killed him once with the sniper dude many months ago but haven't been able to put him down with my level 69 Lilith.

The primary purpose (besides killing him) is to obtain Pearlescent weapons. During the 536 hours I've played Borderlands, never once have I obtained a Pearlescent weapon. Not once. Hopefully, with the help of a few of you, that will change.

If anyone wants to help me my Steam gamer tag is AceGoober.

I'd give the players who help me several of the decent to badass Yellow, Orange and Dark Orange weapons I have in my inventory, if wanted. I've also got a +75 Sniper Damage attribute I'd be willing to let go to show my appreciation for the assistance.

I'd help at some point, but my Soldier isn't that far past lvl 55 so I don't know how much help it'll be.

I never even came close to killing him myself, even at level 65. There is supposed to be a glitch that you can hide in a certain spot and only pop up to shoot and then hide to heal. But i couldnt make it work. And I played to level 65 as soldier and lilith and never got any pearlescent weapons either.

I would play with you, but I had to reformat and lost my level 65 characters, and I dont think I am that good anyway.

It works, just not all the time. It's probably best to use phasewalk to the location, I've had trouble getting my hunter safely to the location half the time, due to the flying freaks, losing millions in the process

He won't be much help given the mission's level 61.

I feel special getting a pearlescent in the very first chest I opened on my first (mission) run through Knoxx's armory.

didn't really know what it was at the time. It's a Tsunami, too (though i rarely use it--kinda crappy, imo).
