Borderlands 2 question

I tried physx very early in BL2 and thought it looked ridiculous (and not in a good way). No idea if it's improved at all since then however.

I loved the PhysX in BL2...no way I'd play without...30fps + PhysX

after saying that however, I never played BL2 at 30fps so I guess I'd need to experience that before I poo poo the 60 fps no PhysX.

You loved the hardware PhysX additions like more cloth-y flags and splashier acid effects?

Or do you mean the CPU PhysX like ragdoll deaths? Everyone gets those at 60fps unless maybe if they have something like a weak mobile GPU or intel IGP.

Splash effects...best weapon effects I've seen.

i think my 970 could run physx @ 60fps but the thing is sometimes i like to play console games at 30fps, gives that true console feel and sometimes, it really is more cinematic looking

My 780 held way above 60 with everything maxed including PhysX so you'd be fine...(I only had (1) 780 at the time I was playing Borderlands)

I can't comment on the 30fps as I never play consoles...I know when I was getting 30fps in Crysis 2 I didn't like it..but maybe there is a difference in locking down at 30 and maxing out at 30?

a rock solid 30fps is a beautiful thing

60fps gets to be a little too uncanny valley for these console ports which have animations designed for 30fps
