Bordering on the hypothetical...

An idea that may or may not work, so please discuss.

Equipment:
Omnibook 800CT
48MB RAM, 6.4GB HD

Docking Station
F1177A

Pentium OverDrive
OverDrive to 300MHz

Idea:
What IF...
We could use the Pentium OverDrive chip? Is it possible?

Another Idea
Is there any other way, through the PCI/ISA slot to increase the performence of the laptop. Like an overdrive chip or RAM board that the system can use.

No. There really is nothing you can do to the Laptop other than max out the
RAM (to 80 meg) and put a larger Hard Drive in (not really cost effective).

You would probably do better if you could sell the Laptop and pickup a
cheaper (approx $500-600) Celeron from Dell or another vendor.
