BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) ? The actor best known as "Borat" tricked the Alabama National Guard into allowing him onto a post, giving him a military uniform and briefly letting him train ? all, supposedly, for a German TV documentary.

Someone correct me if I am mistaken, been known to happen 😱 , but to "serve" in the Nat'l Guard, does one not need to do at least a 2 week "boot-camp" training? If not, I worry about the security of our nations military bases. 😕

Ft. McClellan has been mostly decomissioned as a regular army base. I wouldn't lose any sleep over this as far as national security goes. Nice place, btw.
