Where do you get yours? What kind of place should I look for to find stuff that isn't going to cost a ton but isn't going to taste like it was filtered through hairy ass either?

Depends where you live. Shop around and check prices. Here in the LA area, Food 4 Less is where I go for cheap booze.

If you want low-to-mid tier beer, grocery store(usually best price for party beers) or liquor store.
If you want mid-to-high end beer or kegs, liquor store. Even better if you have liquor store that specializes in beer.
If you want liquor, liquor store.

Do not buy beer at the gas station, its way more expensive.

Oh...where do I BUY it? Depends on who has what on sale.

Here in California, you can buy beer, wine, and hard liquor in the corner grocery store, supermarkets, drug stores, liquor stores, and even convenience stores.
