bootvis problem

i downloaded bootvis.. went to optimize system it then rebooted and then when entering windows it comes up with the bootvis optimizing dialog but it doesnt do anything, no hd activity just sits there. i tryed 3 times in a row did same thing

whats wrong
 
there nothin in that guide i didnt know. bootvis is eazy program im stumped why its not fully working it stops at this point:

You've disabled a service that it needs to run. That is why after a Winxp reformat, i NEVER touch the services until i optimize using Bootvis. You're going to have to look for all the services that MS has set to run automatically, and let them run. I still haven't figured out which one(s) Bootvis is dependent upon.
 
hey thanx for the tip erik. i did indeed mess with the services.

i had "tash scheduler" at manual. when i switched it to automatic bootvis worked perfect.

easy enough

 
To help you find a problem (with the missing service), just look in the EVENTS and pay attention to warnings and errors on the time you tried to do the install. With that you should be able to see where and what went wrong!
