Booting from firewire optical drive?

I've got a DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D, I've checked the manual on the DFI site and it doesn't say whether there is an option in the bios to boot from firewire, but does anyone know, off the top of their head, if this is possibe? I know it is for USB but i'm not too sure about firewire.
 
That would require Firewire drivers in your BIOS. Macs might have that, but I haven't seen any PCs with it.
