Alrighty. I just got a Gigabyte GA-6VM7A+ mobo. I bought it knowing it had a bad BIOS flash. It boots to the bootblock like its supposed to. It asks for a system disk. I give it a bootable floppy with an autoexec.bat pointing to the flasher and the correct BIOS file. It hangs on "Detecting floppy drive A media...". The drive is out of a working computer so I can't figure what's going on. I'd try a hot-swap flash but this chip is soldered to the board. Any ideas?
