Bootable Win 2000 disk?

I have a Win 2000 CD that is not bootable. How can I get this setup going? Is there an NT Kernal boot disk or something?

I have a clean hard drive and no way that I can think of to get Win2K set up going. Obviously DOS won't do it.

LMK,

Thanks,

LJ

You can build bootdisks from the cd, but you'll need to run the setup on another 9x/NT box to do so.

Well, you're obviously on a working PC to make this post, so pop the Win2k cd in, browse the disk and find the 4 boot disk files/boot disk creator and make the boot floppies. They are horribly slow compared to the CD, but hey, they work 🙂

Thank you. I am creating the four floppies. Yes, I have a working computer, but I am trying to help out a friend.
