Bootable USB drive

I'm hoping there is a way to create a bootable USB drive that will allow me to use such programs as dban, Offline NT Password recovery and other similar programs... and still allow me to run other win32 apps such as FF (with favorites), FTP clients etc... trying to make an easy "swiss army" knife for repairs around the office, home and on site.

There are plenty of linux options for this, not sure about windows. Might be a way to do it with BartPE.

Keep in mind that some stuff still can't boot off usb.

Check out the Ultimate Boot CD for Windows (UBCD4WIN) www.ubcd4win.com. This can be built and then put on a USB drive using the included PE2USB file and some 2003 Server SP1 files (you can download the SP from Microsoft and pull the files out yourself). VERY handy tool. I use this at work all the time.
