Bootable Thumb Drive

Not really sure where this should be posted but how do I make a thumb drive accessible so I can install my raid drivers for xp from a thumb drive.

Its only a demo which will allow me to boot only once, and I dont think ill get it right the first time plus i wanna save this for later use, and I know there are perfectly legal ways to do this without paying for software. Thanks for the replie
