Bootable disk to give System Specs?

Howdy,

I ahve some older computers we found in the basement at work and no one knows the passwords to get in them or anything else. Instead of having to reinstall Win2k or something on them to see what's up...

Does anyone have a little program I can boot off a floppy and have it give me general info such as Processor, memory, HDD sizes, etc? Just trying to figure out which are worth salvaging and which are just crap.

I dont know of anything that will do what you are asking, but all the information you listed is usually in the bios/on the boot screen.

Yeah I'll probably check BIOS but on at least one we don't even get a prompt to press anything to go to the BIOS screen. Have to figure that one out...
