boot Xp up using the keyboard???

i dont know about current iMac, but the old Mac i remembered can be turned on usin the keyboard

is this feature existent on any win OS? if yes, how?

Powering on from the keyboard really ins't a OS featue, its a motherboard feature.

Alot of motherboards today can be turned on by keyboard, mouse movement, or LAN activity. Just look in your motherboard manual. There will usually be a BIOS setting or jumper to turn these features on.
 
Stevevm is correct, it's a bios feature. My old ASUS p3b-f had this feature and I was able to turn on the machine by the keyboard. I believed the option was using the space bar, or you can set it to be holding down the ctrl key and the esc key.
Unfortunately my newer Asus mb didn't support this feature anymore.

i've found the manual n my mb does support something like this. i can just turn the monitor on n it boots the computer up. very nice! thanx
