If I try to cold boot the monitor will not come out of it's sleep mode and the system itself will not boot.
If I hit the reset button the system will boot normally with the monitor coming out of it's sleep mode.
The same thing happens when I try to restart the system and the same thing fixes the problem. I can shut down just fine.
I noticed that while trying to find a setting in the bios for "halt on" settings, once I made a change in the bios, saved the settings, and tried to reboot the monitor light would go green for just a second and the monitor would not come out of it's sleep mode and the system would not boot.
Once the system is up and running by hitting the reset button everything runs great.
