Boot Up Question from Old Timer

I haven't been here in awhile but I used to be a regular reader!

I recently re-installed XP on one of my machines and I screwed up the first time and now when I boot up I get a choice of two different Windows XPs to select before it starts to load (and it defaults to the wrong one if I don't make a choice) and I was wondering how to delete the other one. I wiped that drive clean but it still appears as a choice. I tried everything I could think of but am out of ideas. Please help! Thanks.

Open System Properties

click on Advanced tab

under Startup & Recovery click the Settings tab

from there you will be able to choose which OS loads @ startup. 😉
