Boot up Problems with 8800gts

So I was about to boot up my computer today (and I've been running it a few months now) and it froze while posting. I haven't overclocked my CPU (but i have tried taking down the vcore to cut down on waste heat) and i hear and feel the GPU (Gigabyte 8800 GTS) fan spinning at Max. After trying to reboot the system a few times, the screen just went blank. There was power coming to the screen, but there was no "connectivity". I tried re-cycling the power, but that didn't help. Can anyone help me?

try reseating the video card, make sure everything is plugged in correctly. Raise the vcore back up to stock speeds to make sure thats not what is causing the problem.
