when i boot up a win 2k computer after the computer finds all the hardware right before windows appears on the screen i get a black screen and the computer just sits there.
if i turn it off and start again the same thing happens.
if i pull the plug out of the back of the computer put it back in and then start up the computer it boots normally. this problem started on a clients system after he burned out a cdrom drive by jiggling a power plug in the back of the cdrom drive.
the power supply seems to be acting normally.
any suggestions?
